Salamance is more speedy and is a primary dragon with high attack, it can kill hydreigon in a shot.. you give reason?

Re: Salamance vs Hydreigon
Salamance has higher sturdiness and speed but even then the battle is pretty much equal, so I randomly voted for Hydriegon !

Salamance.

Dragon being secondary type doesn't make Hydreigon a weaker dragon !
Primary type just refers to what a pokemon more resembles and looks like..
Hydreigon has a shady character ,so it's primary type is dark
but it has all the abilities of a dragon because it is one of its types...
Both primary and secondary types EQUALLY affect a pokemon !
Plz correct your notions !!

Re: Salamance vs Hydreigon
You mad? Primary type is the main type.. It is not because it resembles it.. For ex- Take Pidgeot, Braviary or any Normal/Flying type bird. Does they resemble Normal first? Or Flying?

BULBAPEDIA PROOF :
"The Flying type has been paired with every other type, except the Fighting type. This ties it with the Water type for the most types it is paired with.

Re: Salamance vs Hydreigon
This interpretation is not correct ...
Both primary and secondary types of a pokemon have equal effects on its strengths and weaknesses!
Eg
Both Psychic/Fire and Fire/Steel pokemon will get STAB by their FIRE moves !

Re: Salamance vs Hydreigon
Exactly as ??? said. Okay let's say Maxlance is correct. Then why Flying is never a Primary type? Has Flying done something wrong so its not allowed as Primary?
They both have STAB moves because its partially that type. If Smeagle uses Flamethrower and Charizard uses the same. Which/is more powerful?

Re: Salamance vs Hydreigon
Flying is not something as attacking etc. Its a part of pokemons structure..Basically there are two types: those who fly and those who can't!
To give an extra ability or speciality to a flying pokemon it has been paired with other types.(till gen 4)
This notion has began to change from gen 4 and we'll get to say more pure flying type pokemon....
Hydreigon's dragon type moves are equally powerful as salamance(STAB)..Do you agree or not?

Re: Salamance vs Hydreigon
It is powerful but not equal. Salamence will have greater power of the STAB move due to its primary type whereas Hydreigon will have powerful Dark type STAB move...

Re: Salamance vs Hydreigon
I knew you would say that..See the following statement from this site and find out where you are wrong !
"Heracross does it better thanks to its higher damage output, greater Speed, and awesome secondary STAB"
http://www.smogon.com/bw/pokemon/machamp
Have any doubts? I can further clarify if you want !

Re: Salamance vs Hydreigon
Can you make me understand this statement?
"Because of Machamp's wide offensive movepool, many potential sets come to mind. However, most of these tend to be outclassed by other Pokemon. For example, a Choice Band set employing DynamicPunch, Stone Edge, ThunderPunch, and Ice Punch is feasible, but Heracross does it better thanks to its higher damage output, greater Speed, and awesome secondary STAB."

Re: Salamance vs Hydreigon
Exactly as expected !
See this site and you'll know that you are wrong !
http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/995081-/59748211
"ok so I know STAB means that ifI use a move that the pokemon's type matches (e.g. blastoise, surf) then it increases it by x1.5 however if I use it with a dual-type like Archeops does it still work like fly with Archeops since it is part flying or does the rock part cancel it out?
Archeops will get the STAB bonus damage for any Flying or Rock moves it uses. Doesn't matter if it is the primary or secondary type for the pokemon, they both are equal for damage calculations."
Will you agree now or keep on arguing unreasonably???

Re: Salamance vs Hydreigon
Thanks Shivam, but I think 95 more proofs are required !
The first site given by you clearly tells that
"Primary type is the main type meaning that is the type the pokémon looks like"
The??? and TORNADO , BOTH DIDN'T AGREE to that !
