So people, here are the link to the awesome games Fire Red and Leaf Green, if you haven't played it, then it is the right time to start off!
Pokemon Fire Red Version (U)
- [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] [4.5 MB]
Pokemon Leaf Green Version (U)
- [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] [4.5 MB]
Also for FireRed, if you get this message at the start of the game:
"The 1-M sub Circuit Board is not Installed"
Then DON'T start the game coz you won't be able to continue the game after you defeat elite 4 as in-game save will not work. And you have to start over the game again..
Solution:
Open vbalink 1.7.3 and then follow this path
Options>Emulator>Save Type and choose 128k
Reason:
Pokemon games and their save states require 128K memory save. 64K does not save the full memory file so when the game reads the 64K file, it thinks that save file is corrupted. That's why it says 1m sub-circuit board is not installed. Your save files -- the computer saved them in a corrupted mode, so the original uncorrupted mode is long gone, and there's nothing you can do to restore it.
Hope it helped!
